Congrats to the cast and crew of “The Social Network” on winning huge from the Boston Society of Film Critics! It takes home Best Picture, Best Director (David Fincher), Best Actor (Jesse Eisenberg), Best Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin) and Best Score (Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross). And Andrew himself was Runner-Up for Best Supporting Actor (Christian Bale bested him by a few votes to win the category).

Here’s a great new minute-long commercial for “The Social Network” as it gears up for awards season. There’s some new footage of Andrew being interviewed in there! The film has already won National Board of Review and the Washington DC Critics Awards for Best Picture (along with a plethora of other awards, Best Director, Best Screenplay, etc) and should continue to rack them up as we head for the Oscars in February.
Congrats to Andrew! He is nominated in the categories of Best Supporting Actor and Best Ensemble for “The Social Network” by Washington DC Film Critics Association. The film is the most nominated, and is also up for Best Picture, Best Actor (Jesse Eisenberg), Best Director (David Fincher), Best Adapted Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin), Best Cinematography and Best Score. Huge congrats to Andrew and the cast of “The Social Network”!! We already know Andrew will be receiving the Breakthrough Actor Award, so he will have two awards to bring home on October 25th!
Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Armie Hammer, Max Minghella, Josh Pence, Brenda Song, Rashida Jones, Douglas Urbanski and Rooney Mara to receive the “Hollywood Ensemble Acting Award” at the Hollywood Awards Gala.
The festival and awards will mark their return on October 20 for a week long series of screenings, competitions and awards. The Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on October 25, 2010.
